Welcome to Parent Portal
All Parent Portal information can now be found by logging into any Knox County School website with your parent username and password. To find your school, look under District > School Websites.
Where do I login? Login in from any KCS district or school web page using the username and password boxes in the lower left of any web page. The login boxes are located just under the thumbnail calendar at the left.
About Parent Accounts:
Who issues parent accounts and verifies my identity and relationship for security and safety?
Your child's safety is always a concern for Knox County Schools. Because of this, parent accounts are issued ONLY BY YOU STUDENT'S SCHOOL and after verifying that you are the legal guardian. The KCS Helpdesk will not issue parent accounts, but is happy to help you in using Parent Portal after you have a verified Parent Portal account.
If you had a Parent Portal Account last year
If you used your parent portal account last school year, your username and password will be the same. Passwords were not reset this school year. If you have forgotten your username and/or password, you wll need to get it from your school.
My child is in a different school in Knox County than last year
Your username and password are still the same if you had an account last year. If you have forgotten your username and password, please contact your child's current school.
I can't remember my username or password If you do not know your username for Parent Portal, you will need to get it from your child's school. Each school will be distributing Parent Portal usernames and passwords for every student. I have never had a Parent Portal account If you have never had a parent account (for example, you are new to Knox County), please visit your child's school to get a username and password.
Need more help? Parent Portal and ParentLink are web-based services that allows parents to monitor their students' classroom grades, attendance and disciplinary events in real time. Parent Portal access requires an account for access. Parent accounts are automatically associated with the student's enrollment and updated nightly. Your username is the same for parent portal and parent link.

Each user has a 'Personal Dashboard' to access websitefunctions.
